Quick & Easy Workshops
From complete beginners to expert quilters our Quick & Easy Workshop programme caters to all abilities and interests.
General Admission or VIP entrance tickets must be purchased in order to attend Quick and Easy Workshops.
Lectures & Talks
The Festival offers a range of Talks & Lectures at the show which are hosted in the Festival Theatre in Hall 9.
Lasting between 45 minutes and one hour, our Talks & Lectures are the perfect opportunity to get advice, tips and inspiration from the experts on all things quilts (whilst taking a breather from all the fun of the Festival!).
General Admission or VIP entrance tickets must be purchased in order to attend Lectures & Talks if taking place in The Festival Theatre.
Academy Workshops
Aimed at the more 'experienced' quilter; subjects include layered surfaces, eco-printing, pattern drafting, improvisational Longarm quilting, textile art using Tyvek.
Fantastic for those wanting more intensive learning, these workshops are held in quiet air-conditioned spaces off the main show floor.
General Admission or VIP entrance tickets must be purchased in order to attend your Academy class if you wish to also enter the exhibition. NB: One day classes include an entrance ticket on Show Days.
